Though they can be spendy, you can probably get some amazing anatomical reference pics in a college physiology text book.

Add on a vet reference guide and you'll be doing quality animal forms in no time!

Hmm...for other stuffs. You can go to Borders and get cheap animal ref books. Decent on pics and explanations of em and such, so look around and you'll bound to find one *wags*

'Drawing Wildlife' by J.C. Amberlyn, ISBN 978-0823023790, is an excellent book for a variety of animals. I use it quite often, comes in very handy.

Personally, I'd recommend just putting the name of the species you're interested in into Amazon, in combination with the word 'photography'

If it's something more general, you might try things like the wildlife photographer of the year book.

Heck, just "Wildlife photography" comes up with some good looking titles.
