I personally haven't needed to deal with it, but I don't upload here much.

Having worked on, and endlessly bashed the jebus out of 3d texture maps to try and visually fit to meshes nicely, it takes a lot of hard work for it to look anything but a flat colour. Detail takes dedicated work. And hey, there's some people that appreciate the extra mile for detail.
Guess some just get offended by it. And when someone "in power" gets offended, this happens.
Plenty of places you could host these pieces of work elsewhere, pretty sure you'd also be fine linking to such things here, with a teaser that doesn't show the "offensive" content. Same with IB and it's "no humans" policy.
