Seriously though, personally, I focus mainly on the music itself. The lyrics I don't really pay much attention to. As long as the vocals fit in well with the instrumentals, I'll probably like it.

Well, of course. In that case the vocals wouldn't fit the music and I would feel turned off to it as well.

Music is like well an intimate coupling to me anyways. If it's done right the music and the vocals entwine perfectly... and if they don't it's like a cheesy porno....

Agreed, though the only exceptions are if the song is meant to be comedic. Then that likeness to a cheesy porno is forgivable :P
