So first off, I'm not dead, somehow. I haven't been very active on FA because I haven't been doing anything in the form of music or any serious art buying stuff. That said, now that I'm finally kind of settling into life, I've been wanting to do more music than ever! But let's just give a little rundown on what's been going on in my life since the last journal I posted yeah?

LIFE: Some of you may know that mid last summer I went through a move and ended up living with a group of my friends. Genuinely awesome people yeah! With the new house came all that terrible adulthood shit like working more and socializing, but hey, small price to pay for all the freedom. Apart from the move, I was on the path to getting clean and finding a new job, as no where will hire you if you smoke the devil's lettuce. After months of searching, I finally found a gig that was right for me, and I'm loving it so far. More money, better hours and actual benefits are a strange thing these days, but amazingly enough there are some companies out there that understand that their workers are human beings and not just robots.

LOVE: I don't like to talk about this much because I don't like to listen to people talk about it, but oi, I found me a real winner, someone who's pulled me through a lot of dark times. He is my squishy and I love him and you will not take him away. >:c

MUSIC: I haven't done a lot on the actual music making front in months. Nothing since the move as far as recording, mostly because I hate every single thing I record. My gallery is filled with WIP's that will honestly never be finished. HOWEVER! Some of you may be pleased to know that I've been doing my best to work on some original content. Songwriting has been something I've always had an interest in, and since there seem to be a few of you who like my singing (I don't know how), I feel like I should try my hand at it a little more seriously than I have in the past. The next goal is to get a semi decent microphone for recording, and get some of these sick rhymes out to the world. At least I think they're sick? I hope? WE'LL SEE?

Anyway, really not a lot more has changed. I still play a ton of the vidya, and still roll the idea of a YouTube channel around in my head. If there's still interest in watching a manchild scream at computer games, I think I could make a job out of that. We'll see what the future holds, as now I'm more motivated than I have been in years. But life is that pesky thing that gets in the way sometimes.
