I'm officially ditching the Security department at work as soon as I'm able.

On Friday we had an emergency situation, and our manager's handling of it endangered our lives. Sent an email to HR that night asking for info on switching departments, because I no longer feel my safety or well-being is a top concern.

Put in an application to go into Maintenance and will be talking to the HR girl on Monday.
