Subs take it up the butt
So my mom took her dog, Zoey, to the vet today and finds out she has a thyroid problem. All they can do is have Zoey take 2 pills a day for the rest of her life. Unless my stepdad is gonna offer to help pay for it, it's gonna be a matter of time till my mom can't afford the medicine anymore and we just wait for Zoey to get sick like Sophie.
You know what? I'm not even upset, angry, or anything. All I can do is facepalm and go "Sure, why not?"

No, the world is just crap is all. Why bother curing the problem when you can just treat it for years and extort the money every time? Of course the cure might not even exist yet...Or maybe it does.
