SOMEBODY!!!!! COMPUTER PROBLEMS STRIKE BACK!!!!

So today I woke up and was going to see what was new in life. However, my laptop would not turn on for some reason. Part of the side was popped open and I was trying to see if something happened inside or maybe if there was a button I could push inside. I couldn't find anything and after a while of searching, it came to the point where I hit my fist against the laptop. For SOME ODD REASON THAT WORKED. Now I'm afraid to turn this off. I put all my stuff on a hard drive and I'm fearing the worse. Does anybody know what happened?

Sorry, I am not great with tech stuff. Sounds to me like some electrical contact might be loose and you just happened to knock that back into place. I wouldn't count on that remaining fixed though, so you might want to start backing up as much data as possible while it is running until you can get it fixed properly.
It's ok, things are working out eventually. The only thing that frustrates me is that it's only 3 years old.
...right?
