Eleven Years of Furry Weekend ATL
Commission Info coming soon....
First off, got me a place to sleep, so I'm good to go! Thanks everyone!
Once upon a time, in 2005, I found a flyer for FWA while attending a single day Anime Weekend ATL (remember the good relax times? Also how easy it was to buy porn?).
Anyway, I wanted to go to it. But it would require parental help. Mum was repulsed because of what she saw on TV, so I went to my Dad, but persuading him to have me pretend I'm 18 since I was three months away from turning 18 didn't work either (so much for him when he use to sneak in Casinos when he lived his high school years in Boulder City). So I missed it.
2006, the time came. This was back when I was Black Tie in a normal wolf fursona, wearing a dress shirt and tie with black pants. I didnt have a job then and only had house allowance to afford a one day attendance. It was on a rainy Saturday of February. With me and Draco. It was a heck of a drive, and annoying that we got lost in a sketchy area. Only to realize that instead of the address to the Holiday Inn ATL-INTER Airport was actually the address to the fella who made the FWA website, my stepdad helped out by phone and we manage to find it. Entering inside, the atmosphere was REALLY strange honestly. First time I have seen fursuits that are not rented costumes from party stores, some dressed more odd and while there were excellent people there, there were some that was REALLY awkward and bizarre. Of course, I was the weird one myself, but certainly not that kind.
But out of the weirdness, I was bewildered seeing the artists in person behind the artworks I have seen on VCL.

, and I think
, and many others. Dealers Den was fun, scored only two badges which can be seen from here. Then a couple of original art works from Nodachi (where is he?), some prints, and lastly some CD portfolios. We stuck around the fun until 10pm since I didnt have any money. But one day was better than not going at all, so I had a great time none of the less. And it was definitely a go for me the next year.A year later, 2007 would be the year I would attend this furry con in one full weekend. With Draco again, and I was gonna have Gambling Dragon, but he sadly died a month before the con. It really sucks because he was definitely up for it. But the con was fun none of the less, I got commissions and badges along with comics. Made some great friends and later on it hooked me up to here. Of course, I had to wait until they open the registration thanks to trolls having nothing to do and having FA close it.
And here we are, my eleventh year at FWA and it surely has changed alot and grew. And now to see how it looks this weekend. I will be there thursday after my work shift and leaving sunday night. So stop by at my table at Artist Alley. Check me on the wrf at JagerWrfs. I already got the weekend jitters, but I look forward to drawing and meeting my friends again! Till then, I will see you guys this weekend!
