Not as bad as it sounds. My old computer isn't booting and that is where all my emails are at. Mostly everything else I got off of it a while back save for some photoshop and illustrator files. Its the email that is going to hurt.
If you have commissioned me recently through email, please resend any conversation we had. Only the last two days were recoverable and I know that there are some conversations that I did not download into my notes.
Surprisingly, I am not angry or upset. Think I am copeing with things better. Working on that stress.

Hm, can you open the case(s) to temporarily slave the old HD to your current system, or is it a laptop situation that would be a little more labor heavy than not?

That is a good idea, unless the harddrive itself is busted you should be able to hook it up to another PC and pull out the files that way.

Its an iMac so its sealed. A sign of hope is that the utility still registers the drive having data on it. I think the HS is not getting power. i will have to look more into it tonight.
