alternately, metal casting or blacksmithing as well. personally id love to get into metal casting, aluminum or brass especially, because of easy availability of both
I also recommend crafting useful things like blunt self defence weapons. . . >.> I'm hella crafty in doing that, i even made my kukuri bush machete into a pole arm.
But if you need a hobby, then why not test different ones until you find one that clicks to you~! :3
Id suggest something artistic, personally; but there's nothing wrong with observing rather then creating~!
(Plus you've got a lot of suggestion already, I'm just saying why not try them all at least once)
There's so much to do, but so little time~!
Play an instrument, draw, make some trips in the close cities, play a sport with your friends...
Especially now there are tons of games that can take a lot of time and they are great for long meetings with friends.
If you have some ideas you could even make your own game. Not that hard, but time consuming.
