WHERE MY FRIENDS ART CAN BE FOUND, OR WHERE IT WAS STOLEN/PIRATED FROM
AND REPOSTED. SHE IS GOING THROUGH ENOUGH SHIT RIGHT NOW
Also DO NOT MISTAKE ANYTHING I SAY TO BE DIRECTED AT YOU OR ANYONE HERE
ON FA! THIS HAPPENED ON ANOTHER SITE! WHEN I REFER TO PEOPLE I MEAN
ONLY THE ONES DIRECTLY INVOLVED WITH THE SITUATION**
This rant is going to be rather rage fueled so beware of language
Due to the nature of this and the people involved I'm not name dropping
ANYONE. However I need to vent and get this off my chest. I have a friend
who is disabled. She has osteogenesis imperfecta and CANNOT WORK
A NORMAL JOB! She is an artist and makes a living off her art alone.
She lives with her parents because of her disease. ALSO her mother
has MS, her dad works a hard labor job when he shouldn't be due to a
past injury. She makes a living off her art and commissions.
Well some ass hat got mad at her and stole her work claimed it was theirs
and then reported her for harassment and spamming comments. She also
got a strange text on her phone with threats. Somehow this asshole and a few of
his friends got her phone number.
We do not know how much info they have on her but just her number alone is
fucking terrifying! Another mutual friend and I stayed up with her tonight because
her mother had to be rushed to the hospital because it looked like she was having a heart
attack. My friends money went toward paying bills and making sure her mom can afford
her meds AND her own meds. They live in not only a poor town but also in a poor
country.
She makes art and posts literally 90% FUCKING FREE FOR EVERYONE! Though
this person feels he is entitled to EVERYTHING she does. Now her money source is fucked
until the lazy asshole people in charge of that website decides to look at the dispute.
No this is not on FA nor dA.
SEVERAL pieces ranging from digital art work, animations and tutorials were stolen
and SHE got reported for theft when THEY stole her shit! Now my group I'm working with are
EXTREMELY worried about her. I found out last night my friends mom also suffers from a mild
case of schizophrenia which is what made her panic attack so severe.
Now her family has no idea what to do. Their biggest source of income has been ripped
away from them and it is all thanks to a few assholes who think it is fun to steal artists
work and claim © on them. She is seeking legal action on this but being in the location she is,
she is terrified that nothing will be done about it.
So I'm going to level with you for a minute. Artists, musicians, actors, comedians or whatever
source of entertainment you choose YOUR SKILLS AND PRODUCT IS WHAT MAKES YOU MONEY!
The moment you STEAL an artists piece you are literally robbing them! You use most of the lyrics
in a song but with a different beat IS STEALING! When you do something like this you are not
affecting JUST the artist! ALOT of artists use their skills to make a living. Asshole trolls
think this shit is fucking hilarious. Do they not just think "What if this is their only income?"
FUCK NO they don't!
No instead they run around screaming GET A REAL JOB! ANYTHING you do for payment is a fucking
job! Being a freelancer is a FUCKING JOB! You have to talk to REAL PEOPLE, work out REAL DETAILS,
get paid REAL MONEY, to produce a REAL PRODUCT! Also not everyone is ABLE to get a so called
REAL JOB! So anytime you steal FROM artists ESPECIALLY artists that make a LIVING off their craft
then you are putting them in REAL DANGER!
What the fuck is wrong with people?! I can understand that paywalling is annoying
however if an artist produces alot of work and 90% of it is FREE to EVERYONE where is
the room for bitching? FUCKING NO WHERE! Even if they 100% paywalled YOU HAVE NO ROOM
TO BITCH! Getting angry over 10% paywalls? Seriously? Are you fucking 3?!
Getting mad at an artist for using the options available to them to make a living easier
on you is CHILDISH! Lemme ask you! When you see a movie trailer and you get SO HYPED
for this movie, does it SHOCK you or PISS YOU OFF when you get to the Boxoffice and have to
pay like what $8-13 to see the movie? NO! NO you don't so then WHY DO IT TO AN ARTIST
TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING AND SUPPORT HER DISABLED MOTHER AND HER DISABLED SELF!?
I am so done with so many fandoms now it makes me physically ill to see what most
fandoms have devolved into! So now my friends and I are going to help and try to comfort her.
GROW THE FUCK UP PEOPLE! You are NOT entitled to ANYTHING an artist does just as much
as an artist is NOT ENTITLED to your money and or support!
I hope she can get this resolved soon.
So, she has plenty of legal ground to stand on. It sucks that these guys are doing this stuff to her, but she should be able to settle the issue in court.
I have several youtuber friends and any of them will tell you
that youtube punishes/takes action before investigating.
I have witnessed this 3 times now. Basically on youtube if YOU
are the original content creator and you post your video, someone
can take it and upload it then report the original creator for infringement.
Youtube then goes ahead and punishes the original creator
WITHOUT any actual proof of the other sides claims. The original
creators only option is to dispute it and provide proof of ownership.
Only then will they lift any punishment they have on you and most times the
thief is just smacked on the hand and told not to do it again.
She is seeking legal options, I just hope that where she is will do something about it.

also since the guy filed the © strike on her youtube automatically removes the video.
So she cannot give the release date as proof or anything involving that video.
