My understanding of it was that people buy an egg for $5 - $10 and depending on the egg's design it gets transferred over to a species of whatever they or the artist decide upon and that egg's style becomes the new character's body style or fur pattern or markings, etc.

I'm also eager to see the headshots being finished first of course, though I'd totally love to see you draw some eggs with mystery characters / markings. Although I'd also personally like there to be a list or something of the possible species we could choose from. Or just, y'know, make it a mystery like this egg only hatches reptiles or this egg only hatches felines~ <x3

That one at least lets the buyer choose the species too, which I like since it means they get more say in the purchase.

Egg adopts would be cute! I might get one if I like the color scheme. I've been looking for a new pastel sona to replace my other sona that I don't use. But whatever you decide to do, your art is fantastic!

I agree! And to be honest, I've been focusing on the headshots so my own personal style isn't really too present on my gallery but I am all about pastel color schemes oops, so if I did do it, that'd definitely be there.

I feel as though you don't have much to lose, as you said it... it fits the time of year and it would let you show your personal style beyond the head-shots. Go for it, I can't wait to see your art style applied to more things.

I would love to see some egg adopts from you! I love the eggs because there's always a hint of mystery when you pick one, you're never 100% certain what you're going to get. And basically your art is amazing so I'm sure the eggs/adopts would turn out awesome!

I know this is a little old now and I just happened on your page but I wanted to say egg adopts aren't an Easter-only thing by any means. And they don't HAVE to be eggs either! Even just a shape or an object, something that shows off a color palette and pattern/design that people might like, and then they choose the species and whatnot and you do what you feel looks good with the chosen theme in mind. c:

I've personally also considered doing something like 'song' adopts where someone selects a song + a species and making a design based off that, too!
There's lots of ideas and ways to interpret and re-interpret this concept for yourself and what you want to do. c:
