Tribal gaming can bring a lot of financial value to the reservation if it's done in the spirit of distributing the profit through the community. I know that there's been some instances where the money brought in didn't enrich the community through corrupt or selfish operation, and that's a sad thing everywhere. The thing I find most curious is the balance some tribes have to find between running a casino and maintaining what they would call their cultural heritage; some reservations just have too little resources to live comfortably without resorting to casinos while others made the decision a long time ago to evolve their community to support a modern full vacation-resort development. That doesn't mean that all the tribal gaming locations are big Vegas style casinos; many in Oklahoma are small buildings that have between 6 and 100 gaming terminals and some of those games are positively repulsive since they have thick crusted layers of tar buildup on the screens from smokers sitting in front of them 12 hours out of the day for years.

I'm glad to be a part of the production process; it's a great field to develop for! Maybe I'll be able to eventually introduce some characters that you'd find relevant to your design interests.

I like you redesign of Lucky Ducky's logo on the top of the page. Much more appealing than the standard. The color pallets are the same overall that will uses at his new job, but you are doing pretty much the same things. Good luck with it.

Thank you! I've been doing what I can to make some of the existing designs more functional as an animated character if nothing else. One of my big challenges for 2017 is to try and turn some pinup designs that Dean Yeagle had done for us into a Toon Boom Harmony animation cutout rig that not only look as good as his originals (with corresponding detailed color work) but can be animated efficiently by one person (me).

Interesting, one of my coworkers used to work with Aristocrat which is one of the main "pokies" game makers in Australia. Pokies is the Australian equivalent of slot machines. I'm always interested to know how they make sure their games meet "payoff" guidelines.
