For myself, Alot of kinks I have only apply for furry art. In real life i'm more of a normal person. Sure I might be up for alot of stuff, or try out certain stuff... But if i don't like a person I woudn't even concider doing something in real life with them.
If i would have met you, I would have first spend a day with you, just perhaps going out, or do other stuff we both might like. In a non-sexual way and more in a "getting to know the "real" you way.
