I've most of my afternoon so far listening to The Beatles and intermittently crying like a little kid with a scratched knee.

I think what has made The Beatles as successful and powerful a force in music as they are, is the ability of their music to connect to the feelings inside us that we might not understand enough to tap into ourselves.

As a musical force, they've been around for so long, and touched on so many different genres and styles (and yet are always recognizable as The Beatles) that no matter your preference for music, chances are they've done at least one song that is applicable to you at each point in your life.

While listening, I've also been scanning in a bunch of older sketches and pics that I'm not planning on finishing. So the second part of my promised flood is heading mostly to scraps, although there will be a few in the main gallery.
