Time to give some updates!
Fiiirst off...I passed 15k watchers recently! Thankyou SO much for all the support I've gotten over the years. I'm very grateful <3
So I'm very close to clearing out my queue from my previous opening, they are mostly larger style comms so they are taking me a bit longer. I have a lot of really big unexpected bills on my plate right now so I've been trying to balance the workload with smaller ychs in between (and trying not to get too stressed over it in the process). So that's why they've been popping up more, trying to make progress but also keep on top of things. I appreciate the patience of the last few in my queue, thankyou so much!!
I will be continuing posting ychs primarily for the next few weeks while I try to clear out my queue. Another reason is I'll be going on a trip at the end of next month and I don't want to take another large batch, I'd rather leave with an empty queue! I will however be opening for BLFC badges soon!
As for future commission openings, I tried it a couple times but I don't really like taking 30+ slots at once. I think I'm going to break it down instead, splitting different styles of comms into their own openings and taking around 10ish slots each time and keep rotating. That way everyone gets a fast turnaround and it'll be easier to balance my days (and not feel overworked). I've been able to manage okay, but the daily pressure to stay on track hasn't been great on me. So yeah, going to try smaller openings instead when the time comes. We'll see how that method goes :)

Congrats on the milestone! Sounds like you're on the right track switching the amount of work you take on at one time. Hoping to get a reference from you when they open again! :)
