Yep yep - all good stuff! Eldiman definitely does good C1, C2 stuff - nice to see him being more active again.

And... those might just be ancient otter feets. <_< Might. Of course knowing Irre, they could also just be prosthetics used to get me excited for a few seconds only for him to snicker at later. You never know with witty ancient otters. ;)

It wasn't even planned. Mab gets all the credit for the creative, I just wanted a sepia toned sketch as a tease on your birthday. Since you don't have a ref sheet, Mab had to webcrawl your gallery, and came back with a cheerful, "No problem, there's enough to work with, I got this! I never got to see a draft, I gave Mab complete creative control, and she blew away all of my expectations. When she first showed me the image.... To say that my jaw dropped was is an understatement. Its like she reads minds. It was a brilliant first attempt.

Needless to say, there was no question of rework or review, i posted it instantly.

That was fantastic sir! Totally blew me away, and like I said, I showed VK and she instantly loved it too. I was quick to PM Mab and thank her. And whoever's feet they are, they're nice feet. :P

My favorite for this entry is Kero_Tzuki_'s work - absolutely gorgeous art, so much mood and atmosphere... It feels like something magic is at work here (what is it about firefly scenes and conveying that? haha), and it's part of the reason I really enjoy scenes like this.

Yeah, that is a gorgeous piece on multiple levels. In real life, there are a lot of "magical" moments, and capturing those in a picture is very difficult most of the time - this does it so effortlessly. And the fact that the footpaws are all so beautifully done is more like a nice side-bonus on that piece.

Yes exactly! Scenes like this (or anything involving mist for some reason) just make me feel cozy to look at. I'm not sure why that is, but it's a wonderful feeling.

I think it might be because it makes the moment more personal. Mist/fog reduce the scene to the immediate surroundings while casting a more gentle, magical light on things.

I think a lot of individuals do. Probably way more than we realise. The tricky part is translating and scaling up that good intention to the global society level... it's tricky stuff. o..o
