Terms of Service

( Section 1 | Standards )
I’m fairly negotiable on what I will and will not draw.
I will draw any and all genders and sexualities.
I will accept commissions of trademarked characters.
I will not draw anything related to pedophilia or rape, per my own discretion.
I will not do nudity of underage characters.
I will not do porn art.

( Section 2 | Contact and Quotes )
( A. Contact )
Commissions are currently open.
You can contact me by emailing me at the.owl.king.coms[at]gmail.com .
Please do not contact me for commissions through chat clients as they are unreliable and unorganized.
Once I give you the go ahead to request a commission, send me your info.
Make sure your request is detailed if you want something specific.
( B. Quotes )
If my commissions are listed as closed, you may still contact me to ask for quotes.
In some cases, I will take extra slots if asked.
( C. References )
If you don’t have anything official, a full-color piece will work just fine.
If you don’t have one set reference and are giving me multiple images, be sure to specify which parts of which image are accurate.
I will take commissions without visual reference, but be aware that I only do limited revisions (as detailed below in Section 6).

( Section 3 | Permissions, Special Requests & Fees )
I post my art to furaffinity.
If you want your commission to remain private and visible only to you, you must specify in your commission inquiry.
Unless explicitly discussed and paid for, I retain all rights to my work, and it may only be used non-commercially.
You may not edit my art in any way (other than resizing or cropping for icons, or adding text) without my express permission.

( Section 4 | Payment )
I prefer payment upfront for transactions under $10.
Under $25, half is paid up front and half upon completion.
I only accept payment in USD through PayPal unless otherwise stated.

( Section 5 | Wait Time )
Don’t be alarmed if I do commissions, personal work, and designs before I get to your commission.
Feel free to ask me for status requests every week– I’ll usually send status updates after every major step along the way, but sometimes I get busy. You’re welcome to ask me how it’s going, but please contact me privately and directly to request a status update.
I can and will work with deadlines, but we have to agree on one before money is exchanged.
Feel free to ask me while commissioning me how long I think it’ll take!

( Section 6 | Revision )
For sketches and doodles, you may request changes if I’ve missed/messed up markings or general anatomy of your character.
By default, commissions come with WIPS, and two limited revisions. I will attempt to contact you at every step along the way, and ensure
Sketch approval must be requested beforehand; it’s free, but not automatically included.
Paintings and large-scale commissions operate on several approval phases. Each change must be requested before I move on to the next one. (Ex.: you cannot ask for changes to the sketch after you’ve approved it and I show you the coloured phase.)
Exceptions can be made at my discretion if we both overlooked something major.
If you’ve given me complete artistic freedom, I will not revise poses.

( Section 7 | Refunds )
You may cancel your commission at any time; however, refund availability depends on the current progress of the piece, because of lost time & supplies.
If some work has been done, you will receive a partial refund and be allowed use of whatever work has been done.
Full refunds are only available on resalable pieces, at my discretion. You will not be able to use the art at all, and it may be reused as a premade sketch or design.
Commissions come with plenty of WIP pictures (to be delivered over e-mail, not Paypal) in order to ensure satisfaction.
If, for some reason, I am unable to complete the commission, you will receive a full refund. Additionally, you can cover the cost of shipping to have the unfinished commission sent your way.
Please ensure you have the funds to comfortably commission me before you send payment.
If all the work has been done and you are not happy, I will see what I can do about fixing it to make you happy.

( Section 8 | Reposting )
Repost with FULL CREDIT.
You may NOT repost your commission to the following sites:
• Tumblr
• Twitter
• DeviantArt
You may use work you commission from me in your icon, tumblr themes, twitter header, etc.
You may not use it in any form of advertising or monetary gain.

( Section 9 | Blacklisting )
The following may result being blacklisted from all transactions, to be removed at my discretion.
• Guilt tripping or arguing over my prices.
• Failure to pay or communicate on time.
• Violating any part of my Terms of Service.
• Harassment / passive-aggressive behaviour about wait time.

By commissioning me, you automatically agree to my Terms of Service.
