Short fur recommendations?

Any idea where I can buy good, short pile fur that comes in multiple colors?
It needs to be short enough to use on fursuit faces without having to be shaved.
Folks are starting to get concerned about the seam lines showing with the Minky I use,
but I can't shave regular fur down like most because my skin breaks out from the fibers.

Beaver/seal fabric I know is kinda short (Nov's tails are made out of it), but that still might be a bit too long for faces and it can look almost glossy/reflective in some lighting. I'll ask around and see if I can find someone who can point you in the right direction~!
