Update.. Thingie.. Again

So... Last time I did an update was back in what.. March? *Double checks* Yeah, back in March.
So, with that aside..
Things are goin' great in the new place. We're settled in comfortably.
Hours at work have picked up due to only one fact: Since my bf and I work at Target, we got word that they were doin' away with a major part of the Flow Team: Grocery.
What we found out when we were told, is that we're goin' to be havin' a Grocery Team instead. We were told that they'd take a list of names some days later. Hex suggested that I put my name in. I thought about it, and he was thinkin' about it.
Several days later, they started takin' names, and even though it was suggested that I end up not tryin' to get on the team, I went and put my name down anyway. What harm came in tryin', right?
A week or so passes by, and Hex tells our TL that he's been lookin' for another job, one with hours, and our TL comes out and tells him to stay at TSC. They wait for everyone to leave. Our TL tells him somethin' that required people to be out of the room for.
Turns out, he was picked for grocery team, and not only was he picked, so was I.
New schedule has us down for 40hrs. Don't know what the schedule after that will have us down for, but this is certainly a look in the right direction.
Two coworkers went over to Hex's old position at Target, Plan-O, and the one girl, was unsure of who was goin' to break-out her area (HBA/Cosmetics) so I approached her and said that I could do it for her, and I even told our TL that I'll do it for the week.
Hex also got put down to come in at 4 for the rest of the week to take her partner's spot on the line... But... Monday he over-did it and went to pick up two small boxes and ended up throwin' his back out... And, even though I know it wasn't my fault, I feel bad that he threw his back out because I had suggested that he could probably come in at 4 as well, instead of droppin' me off and goin' back home only to have to turn right back around to come back to work, or sit out in the car for an hour... ;~;
