NEED HELP, PLEASE READ
Hello, I didn't post journals for a long time, because I don't like to write in English ,but now I have a problem. I open commissions, because I really need some money.
I'M NOT ABLE TO DRAW. I have radial nerve palsy and moving my right wrist or fingers is really difficult. This is the artist's biggest nightmare. I'm so angry and sad. I need treatment and rehabilitation.
BUT, it'll pay for it a lot of money, because I do not have insurance or any savings. I know, it's careless, but it happened in the really wrong time.
I open 5 slots for commissions. Here's the info: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5416432/
Comment this journal, if you're interested AND YOU'RE PATIENT! I don't know when my hand will be productive again.
1. Pazzi
2. Xelanie
3. Tcheco
4. PandiAurora
5. Miinutex
ONE MORE THING! I hate to beg for money, but if you like my artworks and you wanna help me come back to health, you can support me and send a donation.
My paypal mail is: aganik999[at]vp.pl
I feel bad about this, but my situation really sucks.
Thank you in advance.

Might do more later, too.
But won't it hurt you more if you draw? I'd hate for you to make your condition worse by trying to pay for treatment.
Can you offer, say, commissions to be completed in six months - for a slightly lower price? Then you won't have to draw until you're better.
While you suggestions seem like a good idea, they aren't the course of action I would recommend. You never want to start by immediately lowering the price for such things, as the work will still be worth what is normally paid, and you undercut the value of your own work by lowering the price so readily. If no one was willing to be patient and wait at full price, then you consider lowering it after its clear there is no interest (and you also want to refrain from saying a set time frame when you have absolutely no clue how long yet because the treatment hasn't happened etc, since its better to not have to amend an arbitrary time you gave than to simply keep your clients informed as you get more information =). By starting at an already marked down price you limit your ability to improve the offer if needed, and by giving a fixed time period you risk causing issues with customer expectations. Hopefully I'm not coming off like a jerk, as my intent is only to explain why I think she likely chose this option and why I feel it's a wise choice. =)
I was thinking on the basis of comparing a delayed commission with a loan, which it effectively is. But it's no big deal to me - I'd still buy her work if I could afford it.
I'm stretched for money too, though thankfully my hands still work.
