By experience...don't hesitate to block if some people get too annoying. Some of them definitely don't undertand when someone say no!

Oh I have in the past. But I think some people forget that I don't like to RP, so I posted the journal. Thanks for your input!

As someone who enjoys RP a lot, even I get annoyed when people do this constantly. ESPECIALLY when you make it clear in your profile that you only RP with close friends, and they try to be your friend just for RP and ignore you for everything else even when you try to ask them. Most of the time if you do give in their RP skills suck anyway. I can't imagine how annoying it would be as a no-RPer who never does it with anyone, since some people are unhealthily determined to fulfill a wild fantasy even if you say no.

I am familiar with that; they only want to be your friend to roleplay. That is even more annoying. I posted the journal because it seems every time I post a new pic, I get RP requests. I also just don't do requests, says so on my page but I keep getting asked that too. Thanks a bunch for your input!

Yeah. Once there was this annoying guy who was on nearly every single vore pic from a particular artist I liked, asking to be eaten next. I got mad even though I wasn't related to the artist at all and blocked him after remembering he did it to me on my old DA (where the problem was 100000x more worse) and in the end he didn't even bother to type anything longer than five words. Most of the time they don't even try if you do give them a chance so it makes me wonder why people are so desperate. Do they just want to be told that they're terrible at writing?

That does sound pretty annoying. DA has some trolly people there. I guess they want to roleplay, but can't really think of what to type? Or maybe just don't want to think XD

I only RP under certain circumstances with certain people but never on site or in comments, there's a place and time for everything.

Well that's perfectly fine if you like to RP. I'm not judging or bashing anyone. I just don't like being constantly asked to RP.

Same here, that's why I don't RP very often. Some folk are too eager for their own good.

This is a pet peeve of mine too, I just got tired of emotes and bad spelling/grammar so what I do to combat this is warn them once then just ignore it if they continue

No not at all! But random people will add me on skype then begin RPing like *glomps you and shrinks in your paws* eat me!!" stuff like that, I can't abide because I state in my profile i don't roleplay casually >< I like how you talk, it makes me smile =D

Even though I RP myself, I've had my fair share of people who are terrible at it that bug me to RP, and some of which try to force content that I don't enjoy either.

I never force someone to RP, usually when I meet someone new or I knew them for awhile but didn't get a chance to talk to them more, I would ask if they're into doing RP's, if they say no, I merely just leave it at that. Sometimes I might try to help if they have reasons that make them not want to do it, but otherwise I just say "That's Fine!" and don't ask again.
