I've released two growth videos within the last year, which I think is a pretty decent output; but there's still a long silence between uploads. As a result, I regularly get people contact me asking where I'm at with my animations, and whether I am still doing them. The answer is yes, I am. It has been a long time between drinks with the dragon growth animation in particular; almost two years now :o. But the progress on the remake has been consistent, and it will be comparably huge once it is finally released.
I do release my final animations for free, so I don't use my patreon to hoard those from anyone. My philosophy is that I don't want to use patreon as a paywall and prevent people who would appreciate my stuff from enjoying it, simply because they may not have the means to support me. I do, however, offer work in progress updates for those who can, as a reward for their patronage. My patreons will be well aware of what progress I have been making, but all you regular followers will be out of the loop with that.
I guess when I am silent for six months or more, I do seem to be talking and sharing with my patreons exclusively. So as a special treat for those who are not patreons, I'll link the WIP content from a full year ago, which includes a spoiler video for some of the dragon growth animation to give you an idea on where it is going. I've added a lot more over the past year, of course, but it's still a decent enough preview. I would hope that existing patreons aren't upset by me making this old content available, as they are receiving much newer and expanded WIP content for their support money.
I hope to have something from this finished and released in the second half of the year. Thanks for everyone who has been waiting patiently!
Please note though; I don't want to see any of this anywhere else on the internet. If it comes out then I'll never be sharing stuff like this publicly again. I may also delete this journal after a day or so.

I know how hard it is to give trust to an anonymous audience. I also know how easy it is for them to break it..
Regardless... You're a very trusting person, and I hope dearly that that will not bite you in the arse.

There's always that risk of some anon or lurker that doesn't read anything and only clicks links, absentmindedly and thoughtlessly uploading content to other sites like e621 and the like.
I do commend your bravery and level of trust with those that follow you though, I do hope that any of those random faceless individuals don't end up souring your outlook.

That being said, it's looking good there on that remake, and am excited for the finished product.
It does make me feel guilty for putting out mostly paid content these days, but... it's how I support myself.
Already saw the stills.
But I will just have to wait.
I understand not wanting to put stuff behind a paywall and thank you for sharing with your fans who have been eagerly waiting for these.
I can't even make a simple design with a 3D program! Though I did manage to almost finish it, but got stuck on the last part :/
Defiantly have to donate sometime in the future.
Also, as far as help clear you head goes, not sure if it counts, but don;t forget your 2 comics/stories, hasn't been any updates to those in over a year.
Not really that I'm complaining, but always have been looking forwards to their continuation as well.

Actually, surprisingly enough, I guess I'm more of a recent fan. I love Andre! (I'm not a huge growth fan either) Your animations are actually fun to watch, and it's interesting to see how you do growth. It's never all at once, and so you're at the edge of your seat going "Oh, what part's gonna grow next!"
I truly honestly wish I had enough funds to donate to your Patreon. You do some amazing and quite seemless stuff! I'm looking forward to seeing the new animations.
Oh, and a suggestion... I read up there that you still want to provide these animations for free viewing, right? But want the patrons to still think they got something for their support, right? Well, most people that I've seen (for artwork at least) release their art however they do on Patreon (For you, it's the monthly rewards and such), and then delay uploading those pieces for a few months. It's easier when it comes to art as by that point you have a solid chunk of pages to upload to whichever other site.
So my suggestion, and I'm not telling you what to do you can tell me to fuck off if you want, is do your rewards as normal. But, like, give it time afterward. Maybe even wait until you can piece the entire sequence together into one big growth animation and upload it somewhere. Here, Dropbox (like you're doing now) whatever. Just make sure your patrons feel special, so you don't lose any support.
Again, hope the suggestion helped (probably not, I'm weird), and again thank you for this animation. Growth may not be my kink most times, but I love this dragon and his playful personality! I wish I had an Andre! *flail flails* But, yeah. Good work. ^^
