...I made a Lion King reference in a work email just now.
Okay, I really just made the subject line "Morning report", which is more a reference to the musical or DVD release of the movie(they added a song called "Morning report"), and the theatrical/VHS release did include A morning report, and simply "morning report" is vague enough to not be a reference... it's really the intent of the reference that makes it such a furry thing to do. Gah, just writing this journal makes it even more a furry thing to do.
Our work emails also include Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Star Trek references pretty often. "Make it so" has indeed been the body of an email. So has a Cyberman saying "DELETE!".
