✦Character/Art Theft! And Why It's Not Cool✦

RHeyas kids! There's nothing cooler than having your characters being loved by someone that appreciates them! But when that certain someone decided to steal them for their own needs, that's no good!
Parodies aside what I'm saying is absolutely real, as I had recently discovered a friend of mine's character had been stolen on f-list, along with mine.
At this very moment I'm currently trying to deal with this situation as calmly as I can since this is the first time such a thing as ever happen to me. Stolen characters can lead to hurt feelings, hurt feelings can lead to rash actions, said rash action could lead to some retaliation for one big bad drama, and that's no fun at all for both parties.
So what can you do to prevent those things to keep such a drama-beast from breaking out? Keep calm, talk it through with said thief, and hopefully they'll understand what they've done is wrong.
If they fail to cooperate, politely let a moderator and/or admin know of said situation and they will try to deal with it the best they can.
If both actions fail to get through to this person then don't despair, for no one can't truly take away a character from you and the love you've put into them, for they are yours.
So take a deep breath, exhale, chin up, and smile brightly, for you are the best you that you can ever be, in body and heart. ❤
Most of the time they comply with the wishes, and the moderators on f-list are always on the side of the true owner (you) ^^
