Would like to hear your opinion on the new Amonkhet set. Also hope you're having a good day XD

My day has been all right
As for Amonkhet I love the Egyptian theme to it and the art work is very pleasing. As a set flavour wise I love it it is rich in story as for power level that is debatable it doesn't look like it has much impact on standard or modern. I am very sick of seeing the gate watch planeswalkers and wished we got some original ones from Amonkhet.

Well that's good to hear about your day. And I totally agree about the Gatewatch domineering the past blocks. Don't get me wrong, I'm always happy to see Liliana. But a new Planeswalker would be nice. I'd be shocked if we didn't get an Amonkhet Planeswalker. It seems like it would definitely be the right world for one. I know that we're obviously going to get Nicol Bolas in the next set. I can't help but get that feeling that the creeper of the multiverse(Jace) is going to show. I'd frigging like to see Ugin show up. Him not being on Zendikar(I know it's to close from the Takir block)or Innistrad.....well it really frigging pissed me off. Sorry, it's just that I started playing Magic duiring the original Innistrad block, and I'm still feeling a little salty about the way Innistrad ended. I'm still a little sad about the what happened to all the angels on that plane. They were/are my favorites of Magic. Anyway enough boo hoo hooing. I absolutely agree with you on the impact or lack there of on Standard or Modern. Could be really interesting in EDH. Though that'll depend mainly on what is released in Hour of Devestation. Well my fellow furry Planeswalker LOL, I hope the rest of your day/night continues on well XD

well Mark Rosewater of wotc was nice enough to say that starting with Hour of Devastation we would start seeing less of the gatewatch. I for one welcome the return of Nicol Bolas
