YEAH I feel you. It's super blugh alone that it seems interest in what you make just DROPS this time of year. It's kind of startling in a way.

I've been trying to advertise outside of the furry community but everyone I know outside of it is struggling financially. JUST a bunch of big ole fun.

Damn. D: Technically I'm not on the disability welfare - I'm on the general welfare our province offers for people trying to get back into the workforce. It's SUPPOSE to be a temporary solution... but I've been on it for like 4 years now because I was HOPING my severe depression / anxiety was a temporary thing from stress I could quickly overcome. Now, I know it's not that easy. I've been to therapy twice, on a bunch of meds... I FINALLY found one that's been working for me, but I only recently applied for disability bc it's like... at the point I submitted, it was like... "Yeah. This isn't going to go away anytime soon." I haven't gotten a reply yet, but it takes a long-ass time for it to happen. =w=;

I'm sorry to hear that. :c I don't know your situation specifically, but... I just know I currently couldn't support myself with a ""real"" job bc I'd probably have constant breakdowns, and get fired a lot because I get random bouts of fatigue bc YAY DEPRESSION. Yesterday I got a night's rest of like... 8 hours, was fatigued enough to sleep for another 6 in the middle of the day, and then went back to bed at a normal hour and slept for another 8. x_x

I post to a lot of places - FA, tumblr, inkbunny, sofurry, DA - starting to advertise on Facebook, Twitter, Telegram... Furry Network and Weasyl are ghost towns, so I don't bother posting there anymore. Not worth the effort.

I can't simply "post more", since I don't have the energy to take care of myself, work on commissions, AND draw for myself within the same day?? I can do two of those options -- or usually only one. x_x; And I'd feel bad if I dedicated time for personal drawings when I still have artwork I owe,,,

Don't ignore mental health just because you have projects to work on. Remember you can't do it all if you aren't well.
