FEELS SO GOOD to be back

after taking a leave from commissions for like 7-8 months I am feeling SO blessed to be able to return. I think that break was exactly what I needed because I'm coming back refreshed and somehow feel like I've made some pretty significant improvement in my art, too.
last time around I think I got so burnt out because I never gave myself an opportunity to draw for myself, but now that I've been incorporating personal art on a pretty consistent basis I am really enjoying the balance, and I think that enthusiasm is going to be evident in the quality of artwork I produce <3
just really wanted to thank you guys for being so patient with me and sticking around throughout my absence, I really appreciate it!! *hugs u all*

One thing I've seen some commission-dependent artists do to keep up their commissions while avoiding the burnout from never drawing what they want is to take commissions of your character interacting with the commissioner's, either free reign or with a theme. You may try that if you ever feel dragged down but don't have the time for personal art :>
