I notice a lot of writers and artists have patreons they use online. I don't know that much about the service, or if it would even be worth the investment of getting a profile and starting one up. What do you guys think? Would it be worth it for me to open one and see where it goes? Would anyone actually contribute to it? Or would it be more of an empty gesture?

Wouldn't hurt to set one up, though it does come with the implied promise of semi-consistent uploads. Wouldn't hurt to set up tier rewards for people donating a certain amount each month too.
