If you look at it that way, sure. BUT just think of it as them getting a massive pain out of the way, and the rest of the year just getting better from there~

Oh boy...and on your birthday as well. That's gotta suck. For me, today, I have to go for the same treatment, only instead of two, its all four wisdom teeth for me, two of which are broken off and fragmented, and need to go. I just don't agree with my two lower ones as they are perfect and non-faulty. Worse, I have to do the treatment four times divided over several weeks.

Oh boy, I'm so not looking forward to it....

As of yesterday, I had my first tooth extracted, but here's the worst part of it: the dentist who originally had to remove it entirely on Monday couldn't do it right, and needed to do it in fragments as my tooth was very small and broken off, ultimately being unable to get to the last piece as it was too far away for him to reach. it took him over a half hour to get to that point. And that was just for the upper left fragmented tooth.

As such, I needed to get a emergency appointment with a dental surgeon ASAP to get out the last fragment, which was done the first thing next day and quickly. Compared to the dentist, the female surgeon did her work in less than 3 minutes. My upper wisdom teeth are rotten and fragmented, hence why they need removal. They also can't be reached with my tooth brush, nor can I see them as well.

For my lower case ones, they are super perfect by every aspect, aside having minor dental decay which could be filled up easily and are easily reachable and seen as compared to the upper case ones. They also don't irritate me in the slightest. However the surgeon wants to remove them as well, starting with upper right and lower right ones in one treatment, and then doing the lower left in a final third treatment (as opposed to four). All just to prevent a "future removal/complications" later down the line because of the minor tooth decay.

I don't agree with this line of thought myself and opinions vary whether they should be removed or not, and Im still struggling with the thought. I'm in the Not Camp because I use these teeth to chew on my food, and have done so for years. I mean, why remove them if I have no complications at the moment to begin with?

I agreed with that, actually I have four wisdom teeths, up and down, the lower ones were a threat because they were pussing the line of my teeths and it could move one of the middle out of the line, so it was necessary to take them out But the upper area, nothing to be worried about, never bothered me or doesn´t look like they´re gonna make any kind of consequences with my other teeths, so yeah, why removing them if it´s not making anything?

I tend to wonder that as well. Its just minor tooth decay that my lower ones have and I have had them for years without problems, and I use them to chew my food. If I can touch and reach these teeth with my finger alone, so can a dentist, and with that said, filling them shouldn't be a problem. Removing them just because of minor tooth decay makes no sense to me, and its a excessive solution to a minor problem. That, and there's a possibility that unneeded removal of wisdom teeth can lead up to further complications.

But yeah, right now, the pain has gone away, leaving me with only a slightly swollen left cheek and three wisdom teeth left. I only intend to have the upper right removed and be done with it.

I actually got lucky when I had 7 molars (4 wisdom, 3 next to them) all removed at once. Didn't need pain pills after, and I wanted to eat right away >>

Hmmmm eat....... I haven't eat anything but jelly, gerber, juice, and lemon icecream ;__; I want something salty. I guess i could eat jam and bread since nine of them has milk or grease

Oh, you had birthday? I didn't knew that, may I ask which day it was exactly? I would like to note that down. Then a Happy late Birthday for you, much luck, health and I hope you had a good time, despite the teeth problem. Well, it surely is hard, but after the pain will be gone, you surely feel better and avoid worse teeth problems. I will have that "pleasure" sometime soon as well, it's a necessary thing, I guess.

Hahah yeah, I doubt a lot of people are lucky enough to have all their wisdom deaths perfectly to avoid the extraction. In my part I we nervous because a friend of mine shared me a video of how the proceedure is and me so stupid I watch it and got nervous ^ ^° but in the end it wasn't the bad, during the process you dont feel a thing, but afterwards..... you wanna go to spend the whole day on bed with your bloody drool : x

Heh but I'm all better and impatient to finish the week so then I can eat an entire pizza all by myself X3

Well, just the needle for the anesthysia XD but thanks to that it doesn´t feel anything during the process. It´s like the feeling when you make friction with a teeth and your nail. Soemthing like that. But after it´s done and the anesthysia gets weak. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu = __=
