So, I've got a question;... or two. As I want to test the waters...
If I were to make a (Ukimori) Character Creator, what do you feel is the best way to fund it?
I'm still only at the brainstorming stages; so it's a long way off from even opening any sort of crowdfunding. I'd need to get concepts together and be certain i can get some programming off the ground.
I considered a kickstarter or the like at first, but honestly I think Patreon might be the best way until the project is finished.
Should I find a way to incorporate it as a part of my current Patreon? Or would people prefer everything for the project run on its own separate Patreon? I may have to set it up differently since it's such a big project for me and so different from the illustrations I do on my main.
It would be a fairly intensive project for me to take on, on my own. I've been thinking about this for well over a year now. I now have an avenue in which I can build it, but it won't start until I clear my current queue. And then (and perhaps inbetween I can start the learning necessary to build it) I can sit and focus all my creative time into it until it's finished. I'd want all my focus to go into this.
At this point I am just searching for any suggestions. Any groundwork I haven't thought of or covered. So I am totally open to any and all questions and suggestions :3

Or a new patreon just for the project?
and base models etc I plan on doing to show people before anything, i think :3 UI is a good idea too.
With that said, I would also agree that Patreon is the way to go.
I would also vouch for a separate Patreon if its not difficult to create / manage.
If it is just toss it into the current. I'm sure I'll go for it either way.
Thanks for the input!
Uh... There's another option though I'm not too sure exactly how popular the site is, which is the tigerdile funding site, similar to Patreon (mentioned in case opening two accounts on Patreon may cause issues).
