So for a while, I've changed my sona to a Finnish Forest Reindeer! While I will forever love durf my little purple dino, after talking with people close to me I decided to make my own proper sona that reflected me and what I want to be as well as some of who i am and what I struggle with.
The reindeer has important symbolism for me as I found out recently that I am partially descended from the Sami people, the native peoples of Sweden, Norway, Finland, and part of Russia. These people herded Reindeer and the animal was (and is) a vital part of their culture.

The Sami are awesome! They are known to be particularly great Shamans. Have you seen some of their drum and pottery art? It's pretty incredible.
And I have seen their art! the tabard thingy on my piece defending the pass is supposed to be a fancfied version of Juksakka! the goddess of the bow and defender of children! I want to know everything about Sami shamanism lol.
