I'm gonna go into some personal stuff here, so please feel free to skip it and go straight to the bolded bit at the bottom for the main point! Thank you for reading :)
Alrighty, this is gonna be some personal bullshit. Basically a rant? IDK
So I'm a disabled individual, I've been diagnosed with OCD and Depression for a good portion of my life and it makes most things very very hard. I don't really want to go into specifics, but suffice to say I'm not able to hold a 'normal' job due to my mental illnesses. Doing commissions and such on this site has been very good for me, it's been making me feel useful and of value in general, as well as helping me think of things to draw, since I enjoy drawing based on direction quite a bit. Not to mention the money has been a monumental help in financing some much needed things for my living situation, such as food for myself and the 6 other people I live with. (right now I'm saving up for a new pair of glasses/an appointment with an eye doctor, since mine are getting seriously out of date)
When I don't have any commissions, my OCD acts up in a pretty annoying way, and I'm trying to experiment with ways to counteract that. This is gonna be an experiment to that end. Basically a no stress, no commitment cache of ideas to draw from when I need something to focus on and have nothing else. It also kinda doubles as a nice way to give out thank you's to watchers who have been supporting me. So just... read the directions below and post if you're interested!!! Thank you <3

I'm looking to do little warm up sketches every once in a while to help with concentration and flow.
They'll just be sketches, probably not colored, but who knows you might get lucky? These are an opportunity to just get some free art, but shouldn't be placed if you have expectations on timeframe or quality.
Here's what you do.
In this journal, just make a comment with a link to your character ref and a small description of what they're like.
If you want to put in more than one character PLEASE make a separate comment as well.
These won't be done in order, won't be picked with a random number generator or anything, just me looking through them, and they won't be subject to touch ups or other edits after they are made. If you'd like something more done with a freebie you can contact me and we can work out a price! Doing more to freebies would definitely be less expensive than a normal commission.

Also lemme know what your comfort is with sfw/nsfw!! If it's not listed, I'll assume sfw only.

Here is Blayne, he's a shy deerling, rather gentle and easily embarrassed. He enjoys nature for what it is, and believes that it should be cherished just as much as life itself.
You can also draw him as sfw/nsfw. I'm not particularly picky.
Hopefully some constant work will be nice for ya, either way Mal the skunk is a fun loving lady skunk. Loves to dance and do new things, you may draw her NSFW or vice versa. I only ask that she's not used in anything violent.
He's a loving bundle of energy and just loves being a good friend and cozy and energetic. Just a bouncy bubbly guy! Both sfw and nsfw are always fine!

she's usually tired from lack of sleep or tired from too much sleep. there's no inbetween. needs to eat often or she gets hangry. overthinks everything. a sass master. i am alright with nsfw situations.

She likes video games and building machines, focusing entirely on an activity when she has a goal.
Without something to do she often looks in a daze and unfocused, walking around and getting herself lost

NSFW is okay
She's kinda mean, but not in a bad or evil way. More like she's goofin' around, but to the more emotionally-sensitive it might come out as something else.
A collected individual, plays volleyball, and has a soft center. Think of her as a bigger sister who is a mean sonofabitch, but still cares about you.
Another thing to note is that she has a pierced tongue- a stud.
Also, I wanted to say that I too have suffered from OCD. I especially understand what you mean by holding a normal job. I wish you the best.
