Too many problems/expenses this year to deal with for me and for my friend who I was gonna room with so we made the smart decision to just not go this year. It sucks but there was just literally no way I was going to be able to afford it this year!
I'll be sad to miss the Kaiju theme!!! I hope everyone has fun! If someone else wants to set up a red panda or skunk fursuit photoshoot, I'll totally make them a flyer if they need one, just poke me.

hope you have fun with an AtHomeCon this year though :)
i'll be there because i can literally walk to it.
(take me about an hour or so, and a couple of sore feat, but i've walked it b4.
actually i can and will ride the city bus. i don't have lots of money,
like for a fur suit or anything like that, i just go to whatever con is in the town nearest,
like when i lived up in oregon i went to orycon (sf)s.
furthest i've ever travelled to a con was when i was near sacto in the 90s
to ride the train down to san jose for FC. did that about 5 times i think.)
lots of things have changed about cons over the years,
what you can and can't privately screen, what people are interested in,
even within each of the genres of cons that interest me
(furry, sf, model train, railfan, anime. always been to fan run cons, never could see much point in media ones,
would like to go to sigraf some year, doubt i ever will, unless they ever happen to hold it someplace where i am then,
never been to a commic or gamer con, those aren't quite on my radar. anime just barely is.)
average total number of cons i make it to each year; somewhere between one and two.
Just can't afford it this year.
I usually just go to BLFC and FC since they're super close to me and I can drive to them.
