To Those Who Steal Art

Hi. My name is Luna, I'm a small time freelance artist.
This is what I do for a living and this is how I pay my bills and put food on the table.
When you steal my art and sell it without permission, you are actually taking away my job, my income, my hard work.
It took me a very long time to get to where I am today, to be able to sell my art for a living.
You too can get to this point, if you work hard, and it's good to know that you did it yourself,
without having to steal from others. Wouldn't you rather earn your money, your reputation,
through your own hard work and have that self satisfaction?
You may not understand the consequences right now,
but if you ever decide to become a full-time artist one day,
you are gonna wish you hadn't taken advantage of those just like you out in the world; just trying to make it by.
So please stop.
Consider what you are doing; think about how it will not only impact you and your morals,
but also how it will impact others around you.
Not only are you stealing something from someone else who put their time and effort into something just to have it taken away,
but you are also setting a bad reputation for yourself that you will carry with you for the rest of your life.
Is it worth it? Just for a few dollars? I don't think it is.
I think it's more worth to maybe reach out to these artists instead of stealing from them;
many of them will even give you pointers on how to get exposure, make money from your art,
grow to become the greatest artist you can be!
Never forget that we are all human.
