because ive heard this a lot and from industry pros. if you are looking for an art computer, there is no such thing. there is no specific computer made for running art programs like adobe photoshop, after effects, illustrator, in design, flash, toonboom, maya, blender, zbrush, etc. Any computer (mac or PC) is just a computer you can use.

(mind you) you do need to look at the specs of said computer but.....no there is no .....computer...desktop....designed for JUST making art on.........

the most common advice you'll get is to build it yourself because its cheaper and you have your say on what it should have. i'm not a tech savy person and am still using my computer from 2013.
