Yep, not thrilled about this custom hero thing, but I'm still probably gonna get the game anyway!

I'd probably be ok if it was optional or if you could play as others too.....but nope....and it's a gadget user.....a damn gadget user.....a role that could very easily be filled.....but isn't.....cause why not?

I'm not too thrilled with the idea, especially since they already assume the custom hero's roles/fighting styles/etc. If it was less of Saints Row's Custom Character (make a character, already predefined personality/style) and more like White Knight Chronicles Custom Character (shows little personality to allow relevancy in story as YOUR character, entirely based on your play style, your choice of actions, fighting styles, what makes you, YOU) then it'd be a bit more of a cool idea, let your character really be yours.

Otherwise it's like they made the gameplay style and couldn't be assed to make a character so they made a whole bunch of preset choices and say "Hey, play yourself in the role that we've 'forced' upon you." I would still be okay with the idea if it was similar to a lot of Lego games where you can make your own character to play as during a 'free mode' as in going through levels already completed from the original campaign.

I'd have been fine if it were an extra feature character or it didn't blatantly replace someone who could have benefited in the role. It just shows how frightened they are of 06 still even to this day, no matter how much they joke about it. Especially since someone I adore could have really used that expansion in gadget gameplay. Why not just make a magical based character? Sure sounds kinda cliche, but no one else really fills that role, so it's not something that feels like is completely replacing someone.

Just be a free mode you can play over missions or ala Classic like since they love doing that woulda been fine. Select a character, go through campaign. I kinda have wanted that back....just without the whole play exactly the same no real difference ala Heroes.

The names for cats I had were "Lick The Pussy" and "Stroke the Pussy." XP

Just imagine the fun if this thing has online multiplayer!

My biggest positive of all of this, is all the names you can make. Hence "Suck The Cock" will be the name of the bird.
