Hello Followers,
As said in my previous journal, I'm more active on tumblr and I post my art frequently on there. I found more positive support and feedback on there, and I gained way more followers on there (just 300 away from getting 1,000 followers!)
I haven't given up on FA completely, I'll still post art here, just the ones I think are good enough to be on here, and that's pretty much it.
If you want to reach or talk to me, you can do so on my Tumblr or Twitter (found below on my Contact Info)
I won't respond to shouts or notes on here (I REPEAT I WON'T RESPOND TO NOTES), but I'll still appreciate comments or feedback (I check my FA on a monthly basis)
And to those who followed me from FA to Tumblr, Thank you! It really means a lot! I appreciate it!
Love ya guys! See you on tumblr!

Except, I guess, by drawing giftart for other artists and having them reblog, but I guess I don't do that naturally and that only yield like 2 followers when I do that.
I'm also not a great artist, so it appeals very few people, but I still keep on dishing it out, I saw the more people like rule 34 on Tumblr than here, so it took me years to reach that many followers. But just keep drawing what you love dude, people follow for that.
Honestly, the only time I drew gift art for someone, they quickly shot me down and asked me to remove it. So that stopped me for drawing gift art, but I see that art trades are good on exposure and recognition. Commissioning someone as well can help with exposure as well. All this helped me.
Congrats on having 500 followers on here! That's a real huge accomplishment!
As for giftart, that can definitely be touch and go. Some artists apparently have a problem with it, but I find that most love fan/gift art. But to be on the safe side, it's better to show the drawing to them privately to make sure they respond well to it. It also helps if you notice someone else draw art for them and they act like they liked it and/or reblog it. Although I understand your apprehension if the one and only time you tried, you had a bad experience with it. It's hard to shake the bad memories of it away.
And yeah, if I could draw/post more often, it probably would help. But every time I work on something a lot, it's never something that I really want to post on art galleries. Like right now I'm running a quest on tgchan, so it be weird if I posted all the panels on FA and probably would annoy the watchers I already have that follows me for the usual art. I could make another account, but I had 2 accounts before and it's annoying to have to log out and in all the time. But anyway, lol. Maybe one day I'll get a tablet monitor and it will help, since anytime I hear an artist get one, the main thing they say is that they can draw faster now.
Sorry, I rambled a bit there, lol.
