Someone asked me if I would try doing a comic dub of Space Pawdyssey. I had thought about trying some voices for these guys but I don't think I have the best voice for dubbing and I haven't put nearly as much thought as I'd like into figuring out what these guys even sound like (nor could I pull off the full cast if I wanted to). But it was an interesting question that got me thinking.
What do you guys think the Space Pawdyssey cast sound like?
For some reason I have Fredryk Phox's version of Fox McLeod stuck in my head for Lex -- just a bit of a more angry version of that voice. I picture Felix as having a higher pitch too but a much softer voice overall.
I also wonder what kind of accent (if any) I'd give Toby. When I think about his culture, I think of a blend of eastern influences but I'm not sure on the language.

I always see Rowan as mildly disinterested in everything, not usually getting emotional.
Toby sounds overly sociable, with a slightly older version of teen-lingo to me.
Murphy gives me the impression of a politician, very loud, happy to tell everyone his glorious life story, capable of filling a room even if no-one else is talking.
Connor gives me the ambassadorial vibe. Polite and formal on duty, but a lot less well enunciated when nobody important is around.
Etzel sounds like someone on prozac to me, overly happy, perhaps a bit too forced, but slower and struggling to put feelings into words when it wears off.
Ofc, that's just what I see, limited by my own experiences.
