Haihai everyone, been a while since I wrote a journal here. Quite a few things have happened since my last one which was a few months ago, so I figured I'd spit all that juicy information out.
FWA was like a month ago and I never wrote a review journal for that, but to summarize -- it was pretty fun! I'd never been to a con that large before and seeing all the people and fursuits was pretty crazy; fursuiting was also quite fun there! It was hectic but I think I got 8-10 hours in suit or so, which was way more than I anticipated doing. I remember on the last night there were some kids running around hugging all the fluffs and it was hella cute for real. I also bought a shirt from HyenaAgenda and a commissioned a badge for my fursuit, Fritz, which I'm looking forward to getting soon. Hopefully I'll be able to go again next year :3
Last weekend I was at a one day event in Louisville Kentucky called the Menagerie. While it was really busy for me and I didn't get the chance to talk to everyone, I really enjoyed suiting there: gave out a ton of hugs and got a few photos of meself snapped (Everyone seemed to love Fritz!). I gotta say, the local events are almost my favorite still since I don't have to deal with trying to push myself to met a ton of new people. Really looking forward to going to it again next year!
I did get a new phone also! Was hiking a few weeks ago and my old smartphone done gone and died randomly, so it was interesting not having a phone for like 2 weeks again. Somewhat liberating to be honest: sometimes I feel being connected to the internet whenever and wherever has kind of eroded a sense of living in the moment and really appreciating things without immediately jumping onto social media and uploading pics and posts, but maybe I'm just old fashioned in that manner. The phone I got was the Onetech 3, which is a hugeeee improvement over the Cubot X9 I had earlier. Pics look way better and it runs much smoother (battery life could be a little better but it's still an improvement). Quite happy with it!
I also finished my Spring semester at the Uni which is definitely nice :3 It's so crazy to have free time again and not have anything in particular to do. My grades were really good and I made a lot of progress on my degree requirements which was definitely nice, though now I find myself looking for a job since the one I held last Summer is no longer available sadly. Really need to make some money to save up for a car, cons, and a future fursuit! I'm also thinking about going abroad next Summer, so that would definitely be important.
Hope everyone has been doing well otherwise! I plan on going to the Jacobson Park meet on June 3rd (also my 21st birthday!) and IFC in August, so I may see some of you there! Have a good Summer everyone!

Oh come on Future, just be derpy and lovable in suit and people will come to meet you. You don't have to push yourself to meet every single person within 100 meters of your vicinity! xD Just be happy have a smile on your face and come off as very approachable and I am sure many people will be like "wow that guys seems real cool... I should meet him!" ok it many not be like a crowd at once but I guarantee one person at least!
Hope the new phone is working out all right, also I do agree that people do send a lot of screen time.... I have a real issue with that >.<
Good job with University, nice to hear you got good grades. Keep it up and I hope you find a nice job to make some money to support yourself and any future plans you want to do too.

I guess you're right x3 I've always been pretty ambitious and set high standards for myself so it's hard for me to just step back and enjoy what I do in a certain way. Just need to get used to big crowds of people without mitigating my own personality more! I have to admit, it's especially nice when someone asks for a hug or selfie! x3
Oh yes xD It's a huge improvment over the last one I had and really quite sleak :3 I haven't fiddled around with it that much but I'm hoping it will last me a while! And as for future job plans, man that's scary to think about! I feel like I would enjoy being a teacher, but for what, I don't really know yet.

See there you go, just relax and enjoy the settings around when you go to cons. Then you won't be feeling disappointed by setting really high goals that you may not accomplish. Now I am not saying don't set any goals just have some that are moderate and realistic, so you can enjoy the con and complete them ^-^
You probably have a great personality and just over think it! Yeah I bet feeling liked and getting attention without actively looking for it must feel good, especially when you're a fluffball and people are like magnetically attracted to you
I see, well I hope the phone lasts you and you don't have any issues with it going forward. OH cool you'd like to be a teacher?? :D
Personally I don't know whom wouldn't like to have a furball as a Teacher.... just don't be a Math Teacher or your students will really hate you, oh and that goes for history too!! xD Well what ever career path or job you end up doing I wish you the best of luck with it! *hugs*
Ha I'm 19 and I keep forgetting that way too often >.< Yeah I hate how life seems to go faster and faster, I wish things went slow or at least at a moderate pace. Oh I wish >.< no thanks to the leader in my country we are in a recession and I haven't been able to get a job :/ and I am getting older and have no experience >.< Which I hate cause I finished high school 1 year ago with everything in terms of requirements to get apprenticed as a plumber, the economy went down the drain as well as my hopes of getting apprenticed ASAP -_-
Oh no problem, I like to read things thoroughly and answer all that needs to be answered, plus you show the other person you actually read their stuff versus just skimming through and saying "Oh cool, I wish you best of luck on everything" ya know!
