Good to also make sure your motherboard has the PC speaker plugged in so you can hear any diagnostic beeps there might be. Though if you're sure it's the powersupply this is probably a waste of time.

Computers are a lot like kids. You gotta hit them and tell them to straighten up and fly right if you want them to work. Have you tried that?

Ya had my share of failed PSU's, as well as screaming coils and cheapo china construction, gota make sure they are japan components/manufacture for any kind of quality. Avoid rosswell, they have a high failure rate.

After having several PSUs of mine catastrophically fail... I've really only used SeaSonic (semi-)modular stuff and seems to work pretty well for the last several years - though a bit pricey tbh.
