Not many actually know this, but I'm legitimately proud of our American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines. Not only do they fight to protect our country (some days questionable) but they put their lives on the line for what they believe in. So this Memorial Day, I, and my friends, write to praise a close friend, one whose presence is an insane beacon in some of my darkest hours. Someone I've always considered my friend and I would gladly put my life on the line to protect should things come to it.
