Once I got my SP4 I started using CSP because SAI didn't work. Honestly I think it's much better and I feel like as an artist I can go farther with it.
I encourage all artists to at least TRY it and play with it! This doesn't mean I hate SAI, I still love it, but I feel like I have much more potential with CSP.
There's NOTHING WRONG with using SAI, a lot of wonderful artists produce INCREDIBLE work with SAI. I see artists produce some of the cutest stuff with MS freaking PAINT. But please don't discount other programs and sell yourself short of potential. TRY new things! Conquer MORE in life! Become MORE of an artist with knowledge in as much as you can get your hands on!
Don't #SAI4LIFE without learning more and becoming a well rounded artist. You can love and use SAI as much as you like but don't settle with one program
As for CSP: I love it. I think it's amazing! I personally think like it looks and works like a love child of Photoshop and SAI, it works smoothly, there are IMMEASURABLE AMOUNTS of brushes. Although I'm having trouble figuring out the animation part so I just haven't used it lol
It makes SAI look so simple to me now! THAT SAID! CSP is on sale!! If you're unsure about buying it I encourage the trial!!!

I made the switch to MangaStudio (the pre-pubescent ClipStudio) a couple years ago and haven't looked back since! It's so easy to work with and it has a ton of tools very useful for working with a bunch of different styles and synthesizing a ton of mediums. I went from GIMP to SAI then to Manga Studio/Clip Studio and just recently got the decked out form of Clip Studion and honestly couldn't be happier. It's the best! I'd recommend it for anyone with the budget for it, hands down :)
