Your favorite VideoGame and Why you love it!!

I want to talk about this, what makes your favorite game be "The favorite", that one that you will always remember, the one that made you play countles hours, maybe even replaying it lots of times discovering secrets and unlocking stuff, or playing online... do you have or had a videogame like that?
I've played lots of games, i was an old gamer ass (i've probally played all the non sports/racing sega genesis games, lots tons and tons of PC, PSX, Nes, SNES and GBA games... only some of PS2, and just a few of newer consoles)... but from all thar there is 1 favorite game franchise... The Valkyrie Profile Saga (VP 1 from PSX, and VP Silmeria from PS2... the DS game just didn't get me, and the new movile japanese game is like the MG3 Snake eather Pachinko SLot... a Stab in the Heart. u.u)
What I love about these 2 games is almost eveyrhing:
-RPG battles with custom combo system + Sidescrolling plataforming
-Norse Mythology, gods, Einherias, Souls, Demons, VALKYRIES!!!
-Medieval Fantasy setting, with an awesome lore and storylines.
-Likeale characters that grow with the story (inboth games)
-The whole Einheriar sistem, where you can recruit souls of the dead heroes as your party characters, knowing aout their lives (or watching entire cutscenes about their heroic lives or deaths).
-The awesome villains,
-The battle system was awesome, the skill learning methods very original.
-The Art (not only illustration and Design, but the music, the HUD, the backgrounds... everything in these games is art.. maybe the english voice actors of VP1 are a little.. odd sometimes... but characters like Lenneth Valkyrie and Lezard Valeth are just legends in my book, their voice actors made me feel them alive lots of times).
-Tons of secret things to unlock or discover, lots of mysteries... is one of those games that you choose how to play, you don't have to play with the main characters if you don't want to... is awesome. The first one had 3 diferent endings (really diferent endings) and the second have an alternative scene in the ending depending on how you played it.
Just love the game...

I love everything about it. The story draws you in quickly and you get attached to all the characters. Zombie killing is always a plus too.
It really looks like an awesome game, saw the girl jokes on a youtue video... love them.. X3
I remember when the internet hit, and the emulators where in every computer... I used to speedrun it just to beat all those internet videos on youtube... the fast i was able to do was complete the game in almost 10 minutes (with all the shortcuts oviously)... I was so proud, till I find lots of oriental people beating everyody speedrun records with their superhuman videogame skills. XD

PC is a great console too.. you can play all the PC games, and almost eveyother game of other consoles due to emulation... sure you have to wait till that game got emulated correctly and have a computer powerfull enought for that... but with my old Win98 pc, i was ale to play lots of awesome PS1, Snes, Sega, Nes, Nintendo64, Dreamcast and Saturn games. ^^... and with my old WinXp, y was able to play almost any Ps2 game... nowdays youn can play ps3, gamecube, nintendo DS, PSP and even xbox games with emulators. If we add that in the PC, you can Mod games and even improve their resolution... well PC is an awesome console by itself. ^^
But it's too bad that not all games made it to PC. I was hoping to get my hands on some of them and play it. Oh well, might as well get the cash for the card to get better gaming experience.
Problem is, I don't own a Xbox nor a PlayStation since they ain't cheap but who cares? I have a PC for it. What do you think?
