A friend gave me an old power supply to use while I wait for my new one to arrive. So far it seems to be working fine, none of the other computer parts were damaged. It set me back a few days with commission work, but I'll put in extra time these next few days to catch up. I'm hoping to do a request stream sometime next month for you guys, after everything is finished.
A new computer at least a decent one will run $1,000.00. a new power supply would only run between $100 to $500 that's below or even half the price.
Buying a new one when its just a simple fix is a waste of money.
Also 1k for a new computer is ridiculous unless it's top of the line for gaming and even in those computers there's no way a power supply would run more than like, 150.
