There Will be Consequences
Words cannot express my anger right now.
Trump has declared the US will be withdrawing from the Paris agreement, making the USA one of three countries in the nay camp along with Nicaragua and Syria. It is a clear message that the administration values the dollar more than environmental and human suffering brought about by climate change - or that they straight up ignore science.
The environment and science are my number one issue in politics, and for me this is rock bottom. There must and will be consequences for this action.
If you live in the US, I urge you to make calls to your local government and tell them that you will not tolerate throwing the planet under the bus for a few bucks for the fossil fuel industry.
If you live outside the US, I urge you to make calls to your local government and tell them that your country needs to consider sanctioning the US.
We cannot be complacent as fossil fuel companies and their pocket political cronies trample over what is very clearly an important issue for people around the world - we will not tolerate them trashing the future of our environment for a few bucks now and will not tolerate them strangling the clean energy sector.
*Edit: this is not meant to be a Trump bashing journal, so please try to avoid that.

FA+

I do not want this to be about Trump though. This is about the Paris Agreement.
Trump has been trampling over Net Neutrality after he had Ajit Pai take position of CEO Chairman of the FCC who are SUPPOSE to be help protect end users by upholding Net Neutrality for equal usage rights, with no fast-lanes vs slow-lanes when it comes to Cable and ISP companies. Companies like Comcast, Verizon, and Time Warner have been lobbying money to the FCC to destroy Net Neutrality and create fast and slow lanes for Internet speeds, where they cater to businesses who will pay more for a faster connection, while others be thrown into the slow lane. It should also come as to no surprise that people at the FCC have been flooding themselves with FAKE petitions to counter people trying to fight for Net Neutrality who even DDoS'd themselves in the process and tried to blame it on other people.
Impeaching Trump won't make one bit of different. We have to vote in 2018.
In 2020 Trump will compete for re-election. If by some nightmare he wins, he will remain president until 2024.
Civic responsibility is important and if you want change, you need to vote the right people. We might need to try and vote in new people, but if you don't spread awareness or discussion then well just be getting the same choices between one extreme and another extreme.
As for environmental and sciences: Yes I agree they are important, the consequences of his actions will be massively decreased popularity, the only way the left can lose next time around is if they are divided in who they want to bring or if they bring in a corrupt politician or someone nobody likes. As depressing as it is, The reason the left lost last time around is they threw away someone people actually liked in exchange for someone with a massive laundry list of skeletons in their closet. I never want that to happen again, I typically vote left and identify as a moderate-leftist-libertarian myself. It irks me that we had to elect between someone who's morals I was opposed to on both ends.
Career politicians are NOT for humanity, they are for their career. Always remember and consider that because Trump in ditching environmentalism just became a career politician.
So make a plan, figure out who you're going to vote for, Help educate people on the points, it's our responsibilities as Americans and Humans to be invested into this political situation and find out a plan to ACTUALLY make our country better, not great again, not "hope of change", not electing someone based on their skin or sex like what so many people tried to make major talking points the last election, but someone who will fight tooth and nail to get things done, Trump is not that person and was voted in as a reaction to one extreme that was happening in the media, but he is NOT what we need.
Remember: Be the change you want to be, Don't want someone else to be your change.
