Like a firewall, fully updated Windows 10, CCleaner and got rid of all the "standard" applications (crap in other words) that comes with the system.

The Medion cost me €849 which is just the perfect middle ground. It sports an Intel I5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 1500 GB of HDD storage, 128 GB of SSD storage and a 2 GB GTX-960M, 15.6 inch screen, full HD, CD/DVD drive and Onkyo speakers. This thing is BEAST!!!
