I'm not into vaporwave but...

...does this count as such?
Also, my art trade status just changed a few days ago.

"Four on the Floor" and "Into the Red" used to be my favorites. Man, i just love this game, so many memories... :D BTW, I've played DiRT rally yesterday. The game is pretty good, but i want to know what newer racing games have against awesome soundtracks. It have some generic menu music and no racing music at all.

Can't speak about modern gaming as I lost interest in keeping in track with it after 2005 (?), but maybe game publishers or developers now find it cheaper to license music from artists than to pay in-house composers. However, what you feel with DiRT I felt it with TORCS. It got menu music at some point (replaceable, in Ogg Vorbis format), but nothing in-race. And when you ask for music in a sim or any other game without music, there's always somebody who will tell you to just run your music player in the background, but it's not as convenient as to have the music pause or restart automatically when the game does.

Not to mention that a good soundtrack adds a lot of character to the game.

Too fast of a beat for vaporwave. Wasn't distorted or slowed down enough. Has more of a synthwave feel.

Perhaps I was mixing genres. Guessed this track would fit with the trend. Thanks!
