... the building might be vintage, but there's nothing wrong with the pipes. He's still got it, and delivered a great mix of old and new, up-tempo and slow stuff. Very nice balance in the set. Just disappointed he did not play Kodachrome since it is one of Seaweed's favorite songs.

That was the song he closed the main set with, and the whole park was on their feet and dancing. Very fun ^^ You and Puppers would have enjoyed it.

Nope, because the venue was awesome and the songs were catchy ^^ One of the most pleasurable concerts I have ever been too.

Homeward Bound, You Can Call Me Al, Graceland, a lot of newer stuff I had not heard, and at least another classic or two I am blanking on atm. Still waking up :p I purposely did not listen to a lot of his more recent stuff just so I'd have the fun of hearing stuff for the first time.

There are a lot of the old guard musicians that are still killin' it out there. A lot of people have gotten disenfranchised with them, but I'm still going to their shows and most of them are great.

He told a funny little story about a concert he did a year ago. When he came out for an encore some woman was weeping and yelling at the edge of the stage to "Please play (inaudible)." He could not figure out what song he had yet to perform that was moving her so much that she was weeping for it, so he finally walked over, bent down, and asked her what it was she wanted him to play. She said "Play Lion King!"....

Ahhhh, now that's a concert I would have liked to have gone to. Shame he didn't play Kodachrome, it's one of my favorite ones by him.
I could imagine his concert would be a lot like the ones that John Denver used to have.
