Please be aware that the FCC wants to give YOUR ISP the power to control what you search, watch and generally enjoy on the internet. It is unacceptable to me that some company can pay another company to make it more difficult for me to use the utility that is the Internet.
I honestly don't know what this online protest is about on July 12th or how it can help. And if you don't take part, it's whatever. BUT please inform yourself about what's going on.

nah, it's legit. It's been going on for a while now big companies fighting for control over your internets. I mean, I don't know what the protest will entail, but just give em a throw away e-mail if you're worried.

Oh I did. I hope it's legit and even more that they defeat this bill. Soon as they mentioned the internet causing people to join terrorism easier it set off all the red flags of a power play against the free speech of the net :(
